| To download quantitative or qualitative data a short process is required following user
registration. There are three kinds of data requests.
A membership user may request data for research, education, or browse purpose, and a non-member university instructor can request data for education purpose only. |

| To request qualitative or quantitative data download,
a request form must be filled out according to one’s
purpose of use (research, education, or browse). The data request
forms can be downloaded from MY KOSSDA and submitted
online. |

| Limits
of Data Downloads |
| The number of downloads allowed for qualitative and
quantitative data per year are limited to a total of 30 files. For more data download,
KOSSDA’s permission must be received. The term of
validity for the use of download data is 1 year. The
user must destroy all downloaded data with the termination
of the term of validity and must reapply to continue
the use of data. |
| Confidentiality
and Data Dissemination Restriction |
| The user may not utilize the downloaded data to obtain
or derive information relating specifically to an
individual, organization, or institution. The user
may not provide the data in parts or in whole to any
third party without the consent of KOSSDA. |
| Using
Restricted Data |
| Some of the qualitative and quantitative data are
restricted in its use by the request of the data depositor.
A request to use such data will undergo the evaluation
process of KOSSDA and the result will be notified
to the applicant within 7 days. |
